Description: Dress for Success San Francisco in partnership with ServiceNow is holding a Mentoring Bootcamp to bring awareness of the benefits of having a mentor in their workplace.
Studies show that individuals participating in mentorship programs were five times more likely to receive a higher salary and become promoted in their companies.
The Mentoring Bootcamp will kick off with a 3-5 person panel that will discuss the importance and various ways of finding a mentor. The second half of the Mentoring Bootcamp will consist of 1:1 Career Coaching opportunities with ServiceNow team members who can discuss general mentoring further, salary negotiation, advocating for oneself in the workplace, and prepping for an annual review.
Mentoring Bootcamp Incentive: Participants who attend will walk away with a greater understanding of successful mentoring relationships. In addition, participants who arrive on time, and actively participate throughout the event will qualify to complete the Exit Survey and be able to sign up for a 1:1 Career Coaching appointment virtually or in person. Once they’ve completed the Exit Survey on time and attended their scheduled career coaching appointment, participants will receive $50 as a full incentive for joining the Mentoring Bootcamp.
