A skillful and impassioned Sales Executive, Valerie Roush brings more than 20 years of accomplishment in sales operations management, business development, strategic partnership building, and sales team training and leadership. Committed to providing customers with right-fit solutions through a consultative and tailored sales approach, Ms. Roush has led teams in driving multimillion dollar revenue growth and market expansion within highly competitive environments.

Having spent the majority of her career in the global career services industry, Ms. Roush is an expert in formulating winning sales strategies, positioning teams for success through effective go-to-market planning, and transforming floundering teams into top profit centers.

Ms. Roush was named VP, Global Head of Sales at Glassdoor in October 2022. In this role she delivers valuable contributions in support of the company’s ambitious expansion efforts. In this capacity, she is responsible for building robust sales leader pipelines and overseeing training of go-to-market teams globally. In addition to leading sales strategy and execution, as a member of the company’s senior leadership team, Ms. Roush works daily to advance the company’s goals around diversity, inclusion, and allyship, to which she is deeply committed. She is also currently an executive sponsor of our Employee Resource Group, Black United in Leadership Development (BUILD). Prior to her current role, Ms. Roush began her time at Glassdoor in 2018 when she joined as the Senior Director of Channel Sales and Insights.

 

From 2017 to 2018, Ms. Roush, devoted her focus to sales team training and development as Manager of Sales Enablement for Hyster-Yale Group. In this capacity, she provided insightful mentoring and coaching to sales teams through group, one-on-one, virtual, and live training, in addition to establishing cohesive and standardized sales processes and methodologies for the team’s ongoing use.

With Monster Worldwide from 2009 to 2015, Ms. Roush served in progressive sales leadership roles helping to strengthen the company’s brand as the industry leader in online employment solutions. Her numerous accomplishments during this period include: leading a 30-member enterprise sales team in generating $25 million in annual revenue in western-region sales, managing $88 million in advertising agency channel relationships, and playing an instrumental role in operations integration after Monster’s acquisition of HotJobs in 2009.

Earlier, Ms. Roush steadily advanced from an entry-level Account Executive to Vice President within Radancy (formerly TMP Worldwide Advertising and Communications).

Over the course of her distinguished career, she has been recognized with prestigious awards including Sales Director of the Year, President’s Club, RVP Rookie of the Year, Achiever’s Club, and West Coast Office of the Year. Ms. Roush holds a B.A. Degree in Spanish and Education from Anderson University and is an active supporter of charities dedicated to helping foster children and fighting against hunger and homelessness.
