About Yvelise

Yvelise is Dress for Success San Francisco’s Success Starter Pilot Program winner. She moved from New York in 2001 and has since earned multiple degrees while being a full-time employee and raising children. She perseveres, asks for help, and is always grateful for all the support she’s received.

In her own words: “I am a Spanish bilingual/bicultural educator, certified Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant and mother of two, with over 20 years in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE). I hold a master’s degree in education (ECE) and am the proud owner of Y.A.C., Early Education Services, LLC. We are a business-to-business entity delivering developmentally appropriate coaching with a best practice lens for ECE educators, parents, and childcare providers to fulfill necessary program needs. Outcomes are child focused to benefit the under-five population, their families and caregivers.”

“As a certified Training of Trainers facilitator with the Children’s Council of San Francisco, one of the services I recurrently provide is a series of eight fundamental and essential workshops for Bay Area communities. Each session consists of a step-by-step guide for those interested in opening or advancing their family childcare business. As a follow-up, we offer one-on-one consultation visits in your designated setting to review, assess and evaluate your home or center, to ensure each participant understands and is up to par with the mandates of licensing requirements. To assist in accomplishing set goals, we also offer continued and ongoing support in all areas of the classroom, i.e., concerns, observation of interactions, behavior and action plans, all with a culturally responsive approach.”

Mother, caretaker, and entrepreneur, during her seven years with Dress for Success Yvelise has participated in the following programs: PWG, PWG Alumni, Financial Literacy, Career Wardrobe Program, Bootcamps, Workshops, career coaching, and Success Starter Pilot Program.
