VOLUNTEER

Dress for Success San Francisco is a volunteer-driven organization. We simply could not operate without the time and effort of our volunteers.

All volunteers are asked to complete a Volunteer Application and attend a Volunteer Orientation session which includes an overview of the organization as well as applicable training in order to match volunteer interests with our needs.

Volunteer Orientations are held once a month. We have upcoming volunteer orientations on:

Volunteer Spotlight Crystal

Volunteer Spotlight: Crystal

“It’s easy to get trapped in a negative feedback loop of being upset about the high-level issues in society that are out of my direct control. But when I refocus on what I can control, it becomes a lot easier to see the positive in life when I really try to make the commitment of contributing to the mission of bettering my local community in any way I can. I feel a lot of gratitude when witnessing the strength and power of a community when people come together to help each other.” - Crystal

Crystal finds time to volunteer even while working a busy corporate job - often visiting us during her lunch breaks. Crystal's impact can be seen after one of her many one-on-one personal shopping appointments, with the client leaving happy, confident and ready to tackle her interview.

Crystal has also supported our special events and recently joined the Holiday Soiree planning committee.

Thank you Crystal for all your support!
