Macy's Madness in Union Square SF: Unveiling Retail Secrets!

Whoo! Our Macy's Union Square SF event was a real whirlwind of excitement. We had the fabulous Rodney Fong, CEO San Francisco Chamber of Commerce #sfchamberceofcommerce and the unstoppable Teresa Rodriguez, Editor-in-Chief, San Francisco Haute Living Magazine @sfhauteliving. And as if that weren't enough, we had Macy's superstars in the house: Rebekah, John and Fabio.

Picture this: a group of young, eager women who couldn't contain their excitement. They'd been counting down the days for one week, eagerly anticipating insights into retail careers and how our panelists made it to where they are now.

We jumped right into the wild and wonderful world of retail careers. But guess what? We struck gold! The panelist shared their unique career stories, and let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster ride of inspiration and eye-opening wisdom. They all bagan from different points on their journey, but the message was crystal clear: no matter where you start, your determination will take you to amazing places!

Now hold onto your shopping bags because there's more! We wrapped up the event with a shopping spree extravaganza, each attendee paired up with their very own Macy's stylist. The excitement was palpable as they picked out their favorite fashion finds And, as the cherry on top, each of them received a swanky makeup bag from Benefit Cosmetics!

But that's not all, folks! Let's hear from one of our beaming attendees, sharing her unforgettable experience:

“The experience was inspiring and refreshing. I appreciated the time that everyone put into talking with all the girls. I learned a lot of perspective and learned that I’m not too different from anyone else that is successful. Being in the dressing room trying on the clothes made me feel excited to get back to the office to shine with confidence. The support team that helped me with my clothes and outfits were extremely kind and put a lot of insight into what colors suit me best. Yes I was shy at first because it almost felt too good to be true.. but all the welcoming energy and support that was there made me feel comfortable. Trying on the clothes in the dressing room made me look at myself in a different light… It was a huge weight off my shoulders to know that this opportunity is for us and us only. Being an independent young woman, it can get a little difficult sometimes and doing everything on your own is a must… but to know that Dress for Success and Macy's was there for us… I had to remind myself that it’s okay. There’s no need to be shy. Everyone made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Thank you Dress for Success and Macy's. I truly appreciate your time and support you give to all the women out there.”
