Career Wardrobe Program
When you know you look good, you feel more confident. If you’re in need of professional clothing, we can help!
Through our Career Wardrobe Program, we provide an average of 800 women a year professional clothing at no cost.
Participants of our Career Wardrobe Program receive up to two appointments per calendar year. The first appointment is the Interview Wardrobe appointment where we provide one to two outfits to help job-searching women get ready for their upcoming interview.
Once they find employment, participants can return for their Employed Wardrobe appointment where we provide a week’s worth of clothing, at no cost. Our vision is that no woman’s first paycheck goes towards her professional clothes.
At their appointment, participants are greeted by their personal stylist who will help curate their wardrobe. Stylists will help provide clothing, shoes, accessories, and for a limited time, gender-affirming makeup kits filled with foundation, blush, lipstick, and more!
We could not provide this program without the generosity of the public. We vouch for every piece of item we send our participants home with. If we can’t wear it ourselves, it will not make the cut on our inventory room floor.
The Career Wardrobe Program is by appointment only.
Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 am - 3 pm.

About our Workshops: Dress for Success San Francisco’s hosts two professional development workshops each month. These sessions are held virtually on Zoom. We welcome any woman who is looking to expand her professional skills, especially job searching women.
